Easter labyrinth event at West Harton Methodist church.

23rd March 2023S Admin (Biddick Hall Juniors)

Year 6 visited West Harton Methodist Church to take part in an Easter labyrinth event. Volunteers from the church led small groups around different scenes of the journey which Jesus would have taken during Holy Week in the lead up to his crucifixion and when he rose again. We linked his life and journey to our lives; discussing times we have felt betrayed or judged and the strength to show forgiveness during such trials. It was very interesting and at the end we were gifted a sunflower seed to plant, a psalm cross and a small egg to help us remember the trip and what Christian’s believe in and celebrate at Easter.
