On Thursday 7th March we celebrated World Book Day. This year’s theme was ‘Share a Story’. We began the day by discussing the importance and benefits of sharing a story for just 10 minutes a day, we discussed when and who we could share a story with. The rest of the day was spent in our classrooms completing book related activities and completing a school competition. As part of the day we either wore our pyjamas or dressed up as a book character, we were very impressed with the children’s efforts and enthusiasm.
