We celebrated World Book Day on Thursday 4th March.  As part of this day the children took part in many different activities linked to books.  Year threes activities were mainly focused around a book called ‘Dirty Beasts’ by Roald Dahl, year fours tasks were based around a book from a series, ‘You’re a Bad Man, Mr Gum!’ by Andy Stanton’, year 5 completed tasks that linked to a book called ‘Wolf Brother’ by Michelle Paver’ and year sixes work focused on a story called ‘Malala’s Magic pencil’. We also listened to a virtual reading from an author called Stuart Reid.  Many of us dressed up as book characters in school and at home.
