Year 6 enjoyed a day at the Vertu Motors Arena playing in a basketball tournament.
On Thursday 22nd June, 20 Year 5 pupils took part in a tag rugby tournament. We all played excellently and won our groups! Biddick A also received the ‘Spirit of the Game’ award for their group for having outstanding attitude, team work and sporting behaviour.
On Tuesday 13th June, 3 teams of Year 5 pupils took part in a football tournament. We all played excellently and two of our teams received medals for winning their groups. All of the children were excellently behaved and were a credit to the school.
Some of our Year 3 children enjoyed taking part in a tennis festival at Boldon Lawn Tennis Club.
On Friday, our boy’s football team competed in the Bart Rippon Cup at Temple Park. There were 15 teams competing in total across the day, so the boys had lots of playing time. Overall we finished 4th place in our group matches, winning one game 4-0, drawing 0-0, and losing two matches 1-0. The games were very close and it is exciting to see our players continue to improve; they represented our school extremely well. Man of the Match was our Goalkeeper, Danial, for the fantastic saves he made throughout the day. Well done everyone!

Year 3 had a great afternoon at Boldon playing Tag Rugby.
The weather stayed fine which made it really enjoyable running, catching, taking tags and scoring tries.
Everyone played really well and showed good sportsmanship to others.
The Year 3 staff were very proud of them all.
