This year the staff and children of Biddick Hall Junior School took part in Sign2Sing once again. This is an annual world record breaking event which raises essential funds for The Deaf Health Charity SignHealth. We all had a fantastic time learning sign language through songs.
We celebrated the 50th anniversary of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory on Friday 30th January. Children took part in many activities including; writing about what they may see if they went down a chocolate river, watching the DVD and designing a golden ticket (competition). Winning children received a book and a bar of chocolate.
We have been restocking our library books with a selection of new books.
On Thursday 27th November we held our annual fashion show in conjunction with Asda Boldon. Staff members and children looked amazing as they modelled a range of outfits. A raffle was held and refreshments were sold. A grand total of £213 was raised which will go into school funds. Thanks to everyone who cam along and showed their support on the night.
Thank you for all your continued support. We managed to raise £238!
