Science Buddies visited Year 6.

8th December 2025S Admin (Biddick Hall Juniors)

Year 6 were lucky enough to take part in a workshop run by ‘Science Buddies’ as part of our Science topic linked to ‘Light and Reflection’. We used torches and mirrors, and what we had learnt about about reflection to move the light rays around the maze. The winners of the task were the group who were first to make the ray of light shine onto the jewel, positioned at the end of the maze. We had good fun, while testing our problem-solving and team-working skills.

Year 6 visited our local church.

8th December 2025S Admin (Biddick Hall Juniors)

Year 6 visited our local church where volunteers welcomed us and took us around different stations which represented the journey of the magi following the star from the Nativity story. We reflected on difficult journeys we may make in our life and different emotions we carry around with us as well as hopes and aspirations and gratitude. Afterwards, we sang some Christmas carols to the volunteers who were incredibly impressed with our voices.
