Children from Year 4 had a great afternoon at Boldon School playing in a football tournament.
They worked hard together in their teams and made a great effort.

Year 3 had a fantastic day at Durham Oriental Museum where we found out lots more about the ancient Egyptians. We completed a gallery trail to help us answer questions about life in ancient Egypt and we handled artefacts and considered what they were and how they may have been used. In the afternoon, we saw a real mummy in a sarcophagus and we also enjoyed performing a weighing of the heart ceremony to help us decide what would happen to the pharaoh in the afterlife. We all had a great day!
