On Friday 20th September, Year 4 visited Jarrow Hall to introduce our Anglo Saxon topic. The children were very intrigued to learn lots of facts and information from that era. We carefully handled replicas of artefacts, used during that period of time and thought about their uses. We looked at and talked about the farmland and uses of each animal as well as the life of a soldier. We found out more about everyday life in Anglo Saxon times in the replica village.
