We enjoyed taking part in this worthy cause and came to school dressed in red and paid a pound to the charity. We took part in activities also. We had a great time!
Children enjoyed a session playing with the maths games purchased from the Maths Puzzle Company. The games tested the children’s understanding of logic and ability to problem solve. We had a great time!
On Tuesday 14th March, 30 year 4 children went to Temple Park Centre to take part in an athletics tournament. We all had a great time and tried our best when competing in each event.
Following the theme for this year’s World book Day ‘You Are a Reader’, our competition asked pupils to create a picture of themselves reading a book. It could be in their favourite place like on the sofa or in the garden. They could also use their imagination and draw a picture of a place they dream of reading a book – like in a rocket or on a sunny beach.
There were lots of amazing entries, but our winners were:
| Ivy Buie | 3CL |
| Amelia Nichol | 3AE |
| Kaya Briggs | 4NG |
| Hannah Burden | 4NW |
| Leighton-Jai Bigley | 5BA |
| Dale Sutherland | 5LR |
| Scarlett Atkinson | 5KJ |
| Jacob Lawson | 6GD |
| Kylie Hall | 6JO |

Everyone had a great day here at Biddick Hall Junior School!
These are our TT Rockstars of the ½ term! The child from each class who has made the most progress in their ‘Gig’ score (a set of 100 multiplication questions) from September until now were awarded a special certificate in our Friday morning Achievement Assembly. Some children achieved a perfect score of 100/100 on their latest gig and they received a special golden award. Knowing your multiplication tables is so important as it helps you to be fluent and efficient when working mathematically. I wonder who will be the winners of next half term!
We have recently passed the following sections in our journey to be awarded the Rainbow Flag: Student Voice, Pastoral Support and Inclusive Curriculum sections
This now means that we have completed the process and can proudly say that we are a Rainbow Flag Award holder! A very big well done to Mrs Rennie, the children and staff and you – our Biddick Hall Junior School community.
Many congratulations, we have been thrilled to have been on this journey with you.
Well done to our children who achieved 100% attendance in the autumn Term and gained a bronze certificate and wristband.
