We looked at, described and drew Prehistoric artefacts.

We took part in activity trail around the museum which involved games, weaving and detective work.

On 22nd March, 30 children from Year 3 went to Temple Park to take part in a Multi-Skills Festival.

We had the opportunity to practise skills such as, dribbling with a football; throwing and catching; standing long jumps; chest pushes with a weighted ball and relay races.

Each event was scored and our Biddick A and B teams both scored 84 points, meaning we were placed in joint 3rd position.

It was a really fun morning and a great opportunity to add some exercise to our day.

Our behaviour and attitude throughout the whole morning was excellent and Miss Archer said it was a pleasure to take us there.

12th April 2018S Admin (Biddick Hall Juniors)

Year 3’s Design and Technology Project this term was to make pizza, linked to our Italy topic. We used our research from Roma Restaurant to design and make a tasty Italian pizza from scratch. The children used lots of skills such as measuring, mixing, kneading and rolling. The smell in our classroom was amazing and we enjoyed eating and evaluating our pizzas later in the day.

As children will be making their own pizzas for their technology project, we decided to take a trip to an Italian restaurant to allow children to taste a range of traditional Italian dishes. The teachers were very impressed with everyone’s willingness to try new foods. We had a lovely time!
