Biddick Hall Junior School has recently received its reaccreditation for the Healthy School standard. Roma Restaurant – Year 3

12th April 2018S Admin (Biddick Hall Juniors)

In Year 3, the children are currently studying Italy as part of their Geography topic. We have been learning about different aspects of the Italian culture and food plays an important part. As children will be making their own pizzas for their technology project, we decided to take a trip to an Italian restaurant to allow children to taste a range of traditional Italian dishes. The teachers were very impressed with everyone’s willingness to try new foods. We had a lovely time!

Year 6 Christmas Delights!

9th January 2018S Admin (Biddick Hall Juniors)

Year 6 designed and made Christmas stampers using polystyrene tiles, we then created our own Christmas wrapping paper using paint and brown paper to sell at our Christmas fayre.

To work out what profit the school could make we calculated how much each sheet had cost (including paint) and what we would could sell them for.

We also created some hot chocolate reindeer gift packs.  These contain hot chocolate power, chocolate drops and marshmallows – everything needed for an amazing hot chocolate drink!
